Sponsor a Troublemaker

We receive messages every day from women who’d like to become members but cannot afford the full cost or even the discounted rates which we offer. We can offer complimentary membership to many but with your help we can welcome so many more brilliant women into our community.

Here are some of their stories:

“I’m a student and live at home with my single mum. We recently had a fire and were forced to live in a hotel for 6 months while renovating our house.”

“I am a self employed actor and working two different jobs in order to be able to do what I love, which is acting. I would like to participate in all your Trouble talks as I think this will enable me to meet like minded people, who are interested in making change.”

“I am restarting my business after a year and a half hiatus post cancer.”

“I am under 30, working in non-profit leadership, part-time, and parenting the rest of the time. I’m also a law student in the evenings. Sponsored membership would benefit me because the events resonate with my interests/expertise and because due to my charity wages and single parenthood, my expenditure has limits.”

“I campaign and research actively for women’s rights and coordinate large research groups on women in family court and domestic violence victims- but I don’t get paid.”

“I lost all of my work within four days of lockdown. Twenty years gone. It's not easy to start back up in your fifties. But that is exactly what I have done. I am focusing on my writing with much success so far, but creativity takes time to pay off straight away. While I am writing and supporting my family I am working for a homeless charity on the front line. The work is challenging, but my strength to take on and tackle trauma, addiction and complex needs will hopefully give something back to the sector.”
