Elif Shafak is one of the greatest authors alive. She has published 21 books throughout her career and she'll join us at Trouble to discuss her latest Top Five Sunday Times Bestseller, There are Rivers in the Sky.

Elif Shafak is a renowned British-Turkish novelist with 21 published works, including award-nominated titles like The Island of Missing Trees and 10 Minutes 38 Seconds in this Strange World. An advocate for women's and LGBTQ+ rights, she holds a PhD in political science and has taught at prestigious universities, including Oxford, while also contributing to major publications worldwide. Shafak has received numerous accolades, including the Halldór Laxness International Literature Prize and the British Academy President's Medal, recognising her significant impact on storytelling and literature.
