Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Trouble Club (“we”, “our”, “us”). By becoming a member and attending our events, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not sign up for membership or attend our events.

2. Membership

2.1 By signing up, you acknowledge that your membership recurs according to your chosen billing period.

2.2 Membership fees are non-refundable. This applies to both new and renewed memberships.

2.3 Members may cancel their membership at any time; however, to avoid renewal charges, cancellation must be made at least 48 hours prior to the renewal date. Renewal dates are provided at checkout, in confirmation emails, in the subscription section of your account, and in reminder emails sent four days prior to renewal.

2.4 Membership must be active and fully paid at the time of both booking and attending an event. Members may not book events in advance and then cancel their membership before the event takes place. If a membership is inactive at the time of the event, any associated ticket(s) will be cancelled without refund.

2.5 Membership fees may increase over time. Discounted memberships may be moved to the standard membership rate after their first year.

2.6 Trouble reserves the right to terminate a membership without refund if a member breaches these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the club.

3. Events & Tickets

3.1 Members are expected to attend events they have booked, especially where a free members ticket has been used. If you cannot attend, you must notify us via email.

3.2 Trouble does not offer refunds or exchanges on tickets, except where an event is cancelled or rescheduled. Free monthly members tickets cannot be exchanged.

3.3 All members and guests must respect the rules of the venue hosting the event.

3.4 Conversations between members and between members and guests outside staged events are private and must not be circulated.

3.5 Unless otherwise specified as private, members may take photographs and share content from events on social media. However, such content must not be used for commercial purposes without prior permission.

3.6 Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests abide by these rules.

3.7 Entry to any event requires a valid and active membership at the time of the event. Members who cancel their membership after booking but before attending will not be admitted, and no refund will be provided.

4. Conduct

4.1 Members are expected to treat one another with respect. Disagreements may occur, but discussions must remain good-natured.

4.2 Behaviour that disrupts events, disrespects others, or undermines the club’s ethos may result in suspension or termination of membership.

5. Liability

5.1 Trouble is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred at events, except where caused by our negligence.

5.2 We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our website or event booking system, nor can we guarantee events will run exactly as advertised in all circumstances.

6. Privacy

6.1 Our privacy policy, which sets out how we process your personal data, is available on our website. By joining the Trouble Club, you consent to the use of your data in line with this policy.

7. Miscellaneous

7.1 These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

7.2 We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be published on our website and will take immediate effect.

7.3 If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us at [email protected].
