From acclaimed writer-director Marie Kreutzer (Corsage, Austria’s entry for the 95th Academy Awards), Gentle Monster follows concert pianist Lucy (Léa Seydoux), who has relocated her family to a country house in the hope of helping her husband Philip (Laurence Rupp) recover from severe burnout.
But before they have even unpacked, an early-morning visit from the police tears their life apart.
Caught between the man she loves and the growing fear of what he may have done, Lucy is left to face the unthinkable as the life she thought she knew begins to unravel.
