In anticipation of our upcoming event with Zadie Smith herself, we are diving deep into the novel that started it all. Big-hearted and famously funny, White Teeth weaves a sprawling tale of friendship, war, and three families across three generations. It’s a life affirming exploration of how the past has a tricky way of coming back to bite you.
A riotous must-read of a book, it won the Guardian First Book Award, the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for Fiction and the Whitbread First Novel Award.
